Alison Burton, AVA

Alison started working at South Town Animal Hospital in 2007, after five years with Anderson Animal Shelter in South Elgin. Her training there — temperament testing, cleaning and general medical duties — helped her expand her role at South Town.

She is the Patient Care Team Manager and leads the surgical team. Alison and her team give their best efforts to ensure pets are given loving care during appointments and procedures. Along with the veterinarians and the client care team, they work to create a positive environment for every pet.

Alison lives in Elgin with her daughter, two pit bulls, two cats and two leopard geckos. When she is not at work she enjoys canoeing, camping and spending time with family and friends.
