Patient Care Specialist

Stephanie Valois

Stephanie started her journey into veterinary medicine in June of 2017 by earning her veterinary assistant certification at Northeastern Illinois University. While in school she worked as a kennel technician, and continued to do so for over four years.

After earning her certification she had her second child and stayed home to care for her family. When her son turned two she ventured back out to continue her goal of working with animals, and was welcomed into South Town Animal Hospital in February of 2021 — the best learning experience thus far, she says. She loves getting to know all the patients and clients who come to the hospital. Her future goal is to get back to school and earn her veterinary technician license.

Stephanie has two children and three dogs, and loves every minute of her crazy mom life. When she is not at work she loves to paint, go on family adventures, and catch up on movies with her kids — and the dogs, of course.
